The International Soca Monarch Crown in Trinidad may just come to St. Kitts and Nevis as our National Soca Monarch Winner Nicha B has made it to the semi-finals!
If he progresses, Nicha B would make history as the first Kittitian to make the International Soca Monarch Finals, and create an even bigger uproar if he takes the title all together!
He will be performing in position #10 out of 59 semi-finalists at the International Soca Monarch 2016 Semi Finals Contest which will take place on Sunday January 17 at the Queen’s Park Savannah.
We are in full support of Nicha B and we definitely #CantWait to see him take home the title to the Federation!
Sugar Mass St. Kitts and Nevis, is unique because it is the only Carnival in the Caribbean that takes place during the Christmas season. For this reason, St. Kitts and Nevis is definitely the place to be during this time of the year.
The festivities are mostly held in St. Kitts during early November to early January. Nevis’ Culturama is held during July and August but are no less apart of the fun. Nationals and tourists alike from both islands take part in activities held on both territories! The season is filled with competitions (eg. Queen Show, Soca Monarch, Calypso Show), street parties, fetes, and street parades.
With the season winding down, and just a few activities left, will you be there?
